Ouita Michel is a six-time James Beard semi-finalist and a local culinary legend. She is also a Kentucky Debate alum, who championed the 1986 National Debate Tournament. We highly recommend any and all of her Bluegrass offerings!
Holly Hill – Ouita’s flagship restaurant; a pillar of the fine dining scene about 20 minutes outside Lexington (reservation required)
Honey Wood – Upscale casual dining, featuring southern cuisine
Wallace Station – Southern-style deli in a country setting; fried chicken every Monday, and fish fry every Friday
Windy Corner – Southern breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the heart of horse country
Zim’s Café – Causal southern cuisine; breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Smithtown – Casual seafood, with two different locations
